Do you complain?

1 min read

Nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

1 Corinthians 10:10

We ought to be thankful for the things God has placed in our life. We are a blessed people in Christ. Those in Christ have been redeemed by His blood and set free from the penalty of sin. Regrettably we all complain about things. When we do this, we commit the sin of ungratefulness towards God for His divine providence.

Consider these four questions.

1. Do you complain about situations in your life?
2. Do you fail to give thanks for all things God has given you?
3. Are you always looking on the negative side of things?
4. Do you trust God with every part of your life?

The attitude of complaining is a lack of trust and faith in God. This attitude spiritual speaking is not healthily. Be specific to God during the confession of this sin. If you desire to please Christ this sin must be dealt with. We must learn to trust God with everything we have. You have trusted Him for your salvation now trust Him for every need of your essential daily life.
